Your best solution to date?

Kinsale Energy, Kinsale Head gas compression project – significant cantilever structures added to two offshore platforms which fundamentally changed the static and dynamic functionality of the deck and jacket structures from the original design case. The structures were added to accommodate two compression trains on each platform.

Why is it significant?

The project was challenging structurally and the construction had to be carried out on the live platforms without interrupting supply - the gas field was the sole source of supply to Ireland at the time. The facilities extended the life of the gas field for many years.

Your particular skill?

Project management of onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
