Arup and NHS East of England are working together to design and deliver a suite of leadership development programmes for midwives. 

Bespoke development programmes

The programmes are built on understanding of individual and organisational needs. An experienced team of ex-NHS professionals, chartered organisational psychologists and change management experts employ a range of innovative learning techniques.

Each individual’s leadership journey is practically-grounded and centred on developing the leaders of tomorrow.

The programmes are responsive, flexible and designed to meet the specific needs of midwives, the workplace group and the organisation. They will set a benchmark for leadership standards and facilitate outstanding performance among current and future midwifery leaders.

By working closely with senior staff to help them indentify and act upon events that occur in their environment, midwives and their colleagues can be better equipped to influence, drive change and lead the NHS in a challenging financial climate.
