We are involved from conception of a project working on design scoping and integration through to the role of independent owner’s engineer. Our technical consultants also advise on packaging, project management, delivery and operational management. We work across the core energy market with clients looking to invest in power generation, renewable power, energy from waste, electricity transmission and distribution, gas networks and energy storage solutions.

We have specialists with expertise in the various system technologies who are close to the emerging trends allowing us to understand how these are assembled and integrated into projects and energy systems.

We work with clients combining our expertise in digital technology to overcome future system challenges associated with the energy vectors of power, heat and transport to develop bespoke innovative solutions.

Microgrids are revolutionising energy systems for major users and for those in remote locations. Incorporating energy storage now allows organisations to make the most of renewable energy sources although there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. The combination of appropriate energy infrastructure solutions with these latest systems is the future for the rapidly developing energy market.

Global experience

Our energy system experts support critical projects around the world, we are well positioned to work with a range of clients including energy operators and utility providers, large corporations, new technology, industry bodies and research funds. This is one of the most exciting areas to be in as the market dynamics continue to change and evolve.

In the UK we have worked closely with National Grid to provide project management and specialist technical services for the London Power Tunnels project, their largest-ever programme of works involving replacing the high-voltage transmission network to future-proof London and permit more renewables into the capital’s energy mix.
